PROMOTES THE CONSUMPTION OF GENUINE FOOD
PRODUCTS FROM MEXICO, SUPPORTING SUPPLIERS,
DISTRIBUTORS AND RESTAURANTS WORLDWIDE.
In an initiative with cultural and social content,
The Mexican Ministry of Agriculture and the Authentic
Mexican Flavors Foundation, are seeking to increase
the consumption of authentic Mexican products,
particularly those originating from less developed
regions of the country. The Foundation also promotes
and assists with the purchase of fresh, processed and
semi-processed foods, in international markets.
The process will help increase Mexican farm produce and
food exports, generate new jobs and improve the quality
of life for Mexicans in those regions.
Mexico: Flavors through Times is the Third Annual event
sponsored by the Foundation. This year the event honors
Mexican culinary tradition featuring a “CANTINERO MENU”
designed by Chef Roberto Santibanez, using products from
Hierba Real, Café La Paz, Avoro Foods, among other Mexican
producers, Mexican Guava, drinks by mixologist Junior Merino
and performances by Atl Tlachinolli and the Villalobos Trio.
At 7:30 pm on The Stage, the following restaurants from
New York and New Jersey will be honored with the
“Authentic Mexican Restaurant”

Dos Caminos, Hecho en Dumbo, El Aguila Centro de Comida
Mexicana, El Centro, El Paso Taquería, Hell’s Kitchen,

Mamá México, Mañana, Maya, Maz Mezcal, Mercadito, Pámpano,
Papatzul, Rocking Horse, Rosa Mexicano, Sueños, Taquería

Sabores Auténticos de México recognizes the talent and effort
of the chefs, owners and staff of these restaurants to comply
with the Authentic Mexican traditions and flavors.
